READY FOR A ROWDY REUNION
Driving for days, crossing America
to see her
Once my baby, now herself
Visiting friends on the road
Taking my time
Knowing at this journey’s end
We will be together again
Hugs so hard
Laughing, crying, ready for anything

This is lovely. Have you thought about submitting it to http://www.literarymama.com/ ?

I didn’t know about Literary Mama, and Riley is a frequent subject of my poetry, along with my own fractured-but-funny relationship with my own mom. Will check it out, and I’ll mention you referred me. Thanks so much! I love when we are able to point our friends in the right direction… ;^) Amy

Neat. Are these Liberatore Lunes?
Sharp Little Pencil
Yes, in a sense. I always get the Kelly/Collum nature mixed up. So if I put together the right number of syllables or words to fit the form, then, yes. Otherwise, they are simply the rhythm that caught me at the time, and the lune nature is completely accidental. Could be the lunes I’ve been writing for Poetic Asides have embedded themselves in my scattered brain?!
Thanks! Peace, Amy
