At Three Word Wednesday, they gave us: Figure, Juicy, and Stress. (Wow, that could go in a lot of directions. Click the link and see what others have done!) Managed to combine it with ABC Wednesday, “brought to you by the letter F.” No, not THAT “F” word. Whattaya think, I’m that obvious? So, again, two prompts, one poem… from my third and “f”inal trip to the DMV with proper paperwork to secure my driver’s license! Amy
Finally Fit
Finally fit for the DMV
Forms filled out
Foto fixed (couldn’t forage the file from Friday. Go figure!)
No frustration, no fuss, stress–free
These folks, friendly and fine
Fruit-juicy satisfaction, this fact:
Finally, fully Wisconsinite!

Frankly, fun! ha ha. Love ABC – also submitting to 3WW, once I can log onto their site! Thx, Amy
Debbie
Congratulations on the driver’s license AND the excellent poem. You always make it look so easy!
Sharp Little Pencil
If only it were… especially the license! But the workers (state workers, who are battling for their collective bargaining rights) were so nice, I shouted out to the rest of the customers to give them a hand, and they got a standing ovation!!
Nanka
Wow!! What a lot of F~Words featuring here (all 24 are clean Bravo!!) forming this fantastic poem 😉 Cleverly and neatly combined for the two prompts 🙂
Sharp Little Pencil
Yes, Nanka, I was waiting for an F-bomb, and thankfully, we are all too creative for that. Yours was great, too – now if only I can get onto the 3WW site to post!! Peace, Amy
Roger Green
Oh, everyone LOVES to go to the DMV!
Very relatable.

Actually, the Wisconsin DMV (state workers currently be threatened with losing their collective bargaining rights) was a pleasure. I shouted out and the crowd gave them a standing ovation!
Reflections and Renegades
Way to use all those f’s!
Sharp Little Pencil
For sho’! Love these prompts… thanks! Amy
Christine
No foul ups, or 4-letter words at the DMV, fantastic for you.
Sharp Little Pencil
This DMV was a pleasure – and I have to go back 3 times!!! And no one so far has been lazy (using that F word)… love it! Amy
Kim Nelson
You did it! A legal driver and a damned good writer. Ta Da! (This is when you don your tiara and dance.)
Sharp Little Pencil
Why, thank you, Kim! And I did dance – at the Capitol Dome in Madison, where we continue the fight for collective bargaining! Peace, Amy

Wonderful
Tumblewords
Well done! That’s usually such an onerous task – – the DMV. You’ve made it sound like a lark.

had to laugh the dmv is a charming place… the farther east one goes the tension seems to ease… in california you gotta stay for two days before your number is called and they insist on soul payment… hey, here’s hoping it’s changed.. what a great f job… no no that doesn’t sound right… well, you know what i mean…
Sharp Little Pencil
Ha ha ha. Madison’s DMV; in fact, all the state workers, are charming folks. Good-natured, ready to laugh, ready to help. It was my “f” up on the paperwork that made me go back three times! Peace, Amy
Shail
You are extremely talented. Loved the way you have fitted in the alphabet F and the prompt words for 3WW.
Sharp Little Pencil
Thanks, Shail – second time in a row for me – I’m not usually given to double-teaming prompts! I’m on a roll, hee hee! Amy
LeiffyV
I’d say congrats but since I was raised in North Dakota and suffered the wind whipped lashing of Winter’s tough love, I’ll just say best of luck!
Great work with both prompts, you wove them both together very well to give us something to be happy about.
Fair warning, if you read my 3WW offering, be prepared to be “gripped”. No, I’m not coming onto you, I have had every response say something like it so I figured I should give a disclaimer lol
Good to see ya around Sharp, thanks for the blog lovin’s!
Sharp Little Pencil
Glad for the heads-up, but none needed here. I’m as gritty as the next grrrl…! Your take was great, by the way, I think I was able to comment on your blog.

Old Egg
Well that was a lot of fun and not too many four letter words!
Sharp Little Pencil
Even the four-letter words weren’t “four-letter words” in the traditional sense! Thanks, Robin! (Ask Leigh about my mixup of identities. Referred to myself as Scrambled Egg!)
Peace, Amy
Altonian
Flipping fantastic from the first PHrase! How do you do it?
Thanks for the gmail; I’ll be answering direct. LEIGH!
Sharp Little Pencil
Yes, Leigh who is not an egg…! The ABC prompt is so much fun. I love alliteration (as well as puns, which I consider a HIGH form of humor, not low at all). Wordplay of any kind is fun, so that site was a blessing. I noticed everyone got through without swearing, which would have been not only rather obvious, but frankly lazy. I always told my daughter, “People swear when they are too lazy to think of a better adjective.” And man, does SHE have a great vocabulary! Thanks, Amy
Jae Rose
Congratulations on being a Wisconsinite! It’s hard to fathom a place so big you need a different driver’s license for each state.. you can drive the entire length of the country here in a day..I am glad the DMV folks were ‘friendly and fine’..I couldn’t help thinking of Patty and Selma..
Jae – thanks for making me 🙂
Sharp Little Pencil
You’re a Simpsons fan? Ha! And yes, I am pleased as punch to be here. It must seem strange to need a different license state to state, but then, in pre-Euro Europe, you needed various currencies, and that’s hard for Americans abroad as well, so… we’re all in the same boat! Folks are wonderful here, even as we protest the governor’s attempt to bust labor unions, there are signs all over town: “Remember, this is a peaceful demonstration.” At one point, he sent in rabble-rousers to try to stir the pot, but police politely escorted them outside. Love it. I’m all for peaceful demonstrations. Thanks, Amy

I really like double teaming the prompts, have even thought about triples, but that might be gluttony. I can refrain on occasion. Really like what you did and glad you like our state workers. That attitude is hard to find. Now that you are legal, maybe we can actually meet someday. You had fun with this and got your status validated, good work,
Elizabeth
Sharp Little Pencil
Elizabeth, I’m right in Madison near the Capitol Dome. Anytime, hon, but I don’t have a car most days!
As for doubles on prompts… triplets might be awfully hard, but I’ve seen poets achieve it! I think I’m just too damned old to bother… 🙂 Amy

Anna, I sent you an email because I couldn’t comment on your lovely site, but thanks for the link – that was most welcome!
Sheilagh Lee
Congratulations on finally getting your licence there. I love the way you string that all together .Bravo well done.
Sharp Little Pencil
Thanks, Sheilagh! And the state workers, for whom we are fighting the Governor to protect their collective bargaining rights, are soooo nice! Peace, Amy
