Just when you thought she’d reached her maximum ditz quote, Sarah makes that mistake… opening her mouth about Paul Revere “ringing them bells”! So ABC Wednesday wanted a “V” poem… and of course, Poets United will also get a posting! Posting from the Left, I wish you peace… and a break from FAUX News! Amy
Vile, Yet Vapid
Her smile is so sweet,
but vile is her mind.
Her style, “thrift store” neat –
beguiling her kind.
Her words are quite vapid
(though written by others)
Her speech, shrill and rapid;
she’s one grizzly mother.
She writes talking points
in the palm of her hand.
Just where her sycophants
all want to stand…
Don’t call her a Guv:
Never finished her term.
So why do folks love
this Tea Party germ?

Only one word to describe it……beautiful x

Dear Anthony, thanks for visiting. I know Tea Party folks will think I’m being mean, but I’m trying to get them to… THINK! Every time this very dangerous woman opens her mouth, spiders crawl out.
Thanks for coming by. Thank God you are in the UK and don’t have the corrupt system of American elections. Oh, sorry, you have your OWN corrupt system of elections, right?! Amy

well, I’m not a fan of SP, fer sure

Amen to that, brother! Glad you’re on the ABC team, too! Amy

Ugh, Sarah Palin is not my favourite person. I feel like she’s setting up this image of what women in power ought to be, and it’s wrong! Women in politics can be intelligent, witty, understanding, devious, open-minded, ambitious without malice… anything any woman can be in any other sphere of life. Grrrrrrr.
LOVED your poem Amy! I’m not an American, but we do get a sense of American politics in the Great White North.

And don’t forget, Sarah can SEE Canada from her kitchen window, LOL. She’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The worst kind of woman, the cheerleader who comes off all bubbly and cutesy but will drive a nail straight through your forehead if you go out for captain!
Sharp Little Pencil
Kim, glad to hear from you. I know how it is to pull away for a bit. Whatever the reason (hope it’s just too many good things going on in your life!), nice to find you here, and now I’m heading over to your blog.
As for Miss Sarah… ugh. She even makes Michelle Bachmann look slightly competent. And that’s saying a LOT! Amy

Believe me, after the Anthony Weiner thing (which still cracks me up, strictly because of the unfortunate name), my faith in all American politics is waning… and it was already going in that direction anyway. The Tea Party is run by a Mad Hatter, methinks… Thanks! Amy

I can’t tell you Amy what a relief it is to know that there are American who don’t support this mind-boggling nasty, cruel, judgemental ignorance. It is horrendous to watch folks supporting this tea party phenomenon…I only hope that those who understand the ethical emptiness of this group can overcome their apathy and make just as much noise.

Sooooo many Americans think Sarah Palin is a corrupt idiot. Not sure which part is more dangerous. She thinks campaigning is just another beauty pageant. Her quote on YouTube about how Paul Revere rode through town ringing bells to warn the Brits we weren’t going to take any guff had my daughter on the floor laughing. Both my sisters are Tea Party supporters, whereas I uphold the Leftie traditions of my mom and dad.

I agree! Very funny and well written. Your words flow nicely. Thank You!

Amazing – haven’t had anyone question the motives behind this poem, ha ha. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel… or at least smacking them upside the head. Thanks! Amy
Meryl Jaffe
Sweet. I relate only too well to ditzes and loved your tone and humor LOL!
Sharp Little Pencil
Hey, it’s a ditzy world… we just live in it! Thanks, Meryl. Peace, Amy

Acting professional and singer Patrick Bruel ended up being considered
one of France’s biggest stars during the ’90s, first making
his or her name like a teen idol and leading a return to traditional French chanson from the new millennium.
Bruel was given birth to Patrick Benguigui with Tlemcen,
Algeria, on, may 14, 1959. His / her father abandoned the family
unit when Patrick was merely a year old, because
1962, after Algeria earned its independence,
his mummy moved to France, settling inside Paris suburb associated with Argenteuil.
A superb soccer player in the youth, Patrick first settled on the idea of being a singer having seen Michel Sardou perform in 75.
As good luck would have it, acting would bring him his first success; first-time
overseer Alexandre Arcady ran an advertisement seeking an adolescent man with a
French-Algerian (or “pied-noir” in French slang) accent for his motion picture Le Coup fuente
Sirocco. Benguigui (as he was still called) responded and gained the part.
The following year, he spent time in Nyc, where he
found Gérard Presgurvic, later to be his primary composer.

I do agree with all the ideas you have introduced on your post.
They’re really convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are too quick
for beginners. Could you please extend them a bit from
subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
