A peaceful Good Friday to Christians, and Happy Pesach to Jews. To Muslims, a moment’s breath… and to all, those who follow a path of faith and atheists alike, I wish you peace and love. Amy
Order in His Court
His growl is worse than his bark
His bark is worse than his bite
He’s hyped to the max on drugs
He’s free to spread bile and spite
To justify his self-hatred
He takes it all out on “girls”
Who’d marry such a foul swine?
(She hates sex – but does love pearls)

They never are. Selling your soul for money? What’s the point? Peace, Amy

He took it all on the girls? Goodness! He should be making friends and work with them, or through them! Asking for trouble this! Plainly he cannot survive without the help of women, in a working environment or otherwise! Great write, Amy!

He’s the kind of man who thinks women are chattle. Maybe cattle. But definitely possessions when they are his, and pawns on the chessboard when it comes to politics… Thanks, Hank! Amy

I LOVE it! I couldn’t think of something like what you wrote, and instead started writing a first scene of a short story or novel. I’m trying to wrap it up and get it down for 3WW, but things keep happening. Thank you for your Passover wishes and for all your wishes encompassing believers in whatever they believe. My biggest belief is in tolerance for our differences. Namaste!

Di, another fab blog name! Can’t wait to see your writing. Thanks for stopping by. Incidentally, I try to aim past “tolerance” to “acceptance” and finally “embrace.” If we concentrated more on our commonality, while retaining our uniqueness in faith, politics, et al., this would be a better world. Shalom, Amy

Wonderful take on that obnoxious Rush!
Hope you had a lovely holiday weekend!

Ha! You got the name right the first time! (Even my husband thought it was Clarence Thomas… not that I hold any love for him, nor for his decisions on the Supreme Court bench… Thanks, Mad! Peace, Amy

Sometimes there are no words to use to compliment your genius. Points well taken in your writing here. A trip to a humble garden out back is in order after reading “Order in His Court”…

“A humble garden out back”! What an excellent comment, thanks, Lindy! As to my genius, just watch me try to balance a checkbook!! Peace, Amy

You’ll find that when you are much older, just plain balancing is a real accomplishment…

How much older? I’m 55, ha ha ha
