Folks, as often happens with my precarious mental health circumstances, I must take a week off blogging.Β I’m sorry I haven’t been posting regularly, and I decided it’s poetic fatigue… need to go out and catch a star, but first must rest my mind.
Thanks, y’all, for hanging in with me through thick and thin! I’ll sharpen my pencil in the next few days, but for now, I bid you peace. Amy

Poetic fatigue does require relaxation, perhaps a massage. Good luck, my dear friend.

You have my sympathy – I too am suffering poetic fatigue and am attempting to plough through it regardless, but what I write is mostly rubbish! Perhaps I should follow your example and take a week off. Keep smiling.
Love,

No one relates more completely than I regarding an inability to “blog on”. Be well, my friend.

Big hugs and much love to you. xx

Rest well, my poetical friend. You are a light. Go capture that star, and bring it back to us when you can.

take your time to recharge, and never apologize for it. π

Amy, I hear ya! Art takes time, we have to breathe, catch our breath, and refresh our artistic hearts, eyes, ears, mind π Say hello to the stars for me, and here’s some hugs to put in the extra change jar–I’ll be here when you get back, stoking the fires, and keeping a place for you, right where the embers do that magical color changing thingie… β€

Just rest and replenish, kiddo. I feel much the same way. All I want is a long stint on my couch under a fleecy blanket watching movies. My solution to all of life’s problems, hee hee.
El Guapo
well, enjoy the break and keep on rockin.
We’ll be here when you get back.

“Keep”. “Keep well”.
Meh.
El Guapo
Nope, sorry. Should have been “Be well”.
Double meh.

From your pal Mosk
sleep song
sleep now
let the cool darkness
wash over you
lay all your problems down
it’s been such a long day
and there’s nothing else
you can possibly do
but close your eyes
untangle your mind
the Japanese sandman
will be here soon
so float downstream
through this lush
and soft rain garden
you’ll be safe here
I came by earlier
and sent all the demons
and worries away
let every muscle loosen
and surrender to gravity
surrender to the temporary
abyss
there is nothing here
but you
and God
and the seeds of
sweet dreams
awaiting you.
