Hoo Dew

Grab the cumbersome cobalt bottle
No, the one with the floating bits
Syrup it into kettle
Stoke the smoke with oak
Scratch in cinnamon and
ground wormwood
Fresh dandelions

Stir to boiling
Simmer for days
Haze it will bring, just past
the sting of its reality,
will knock the clocks dead

We shall fast while it brews
This shit is better than booze
A ruse of peace, pleasing, but
when it wears off…
