Wisconsin Winter Weather
Weather winces
Wisconsinites, whether
winkled or wrinkled
Why would we winter
where winds’re
wild, wooly?
Woven, wistful warmth within

Hi Amy, I would say this is the worst weather we have had in a number of years. If it isn’t extremely cold it is snowing. If it isn’t snowing, it is extremely cold. I am really tired of Wisconsin winter ALREADY this year. Sigh.

Wow, winter with Wisconsin weather wrought with whites with waving, wonderful Amelita! Must be a few feet high with you and Lex barely seen behind the wall of snow! With no snow in our part of the world that must be fun! Great alliteration and pic! Good one Amy!

Kerry, so glad you liked my little comic. I’m getting bolder about adding them, so the feedback is welcome. Yeah, the W got the old can of Whoopass opened on it! Peace on earth, Amy

What is 40C in Fahrenheit? Never can get that straight. Only thing I know is, if you’re doing 60 mph in the car, it’s about 100 in Ks.

Love this. I can totally relate, out here on the lone prair-ee.
I enlarged the drawing, and I wuv it. Wuv your cat and bunny, too. I don’t know where the local rabbits are burrowed, but Lindy would rather be in the house than outside in the wild winter winds.
Wonderful work, Amy, wonderful.

Tempting to wing your way but this is too much fun as it is, and provides a better explanation than simply being stuck somewhere why anyone would want to winter in Wisconsin (colder without, warmer within). I live near Orlando and work with an outfit based in MIlwaukee; the layout editor seems to revel in tales of cold and misery. The teeth chatter but they still smile. Yo to Diva in the window. – b
