Look me in the eye
Tell me again and again
I’ll listen all night
Speak those words of love
words that drew me to your side
and shine in my heart

This poem reminds me so much of when Miriam and I first dated. We would sit out on her front steps and talk until sunrise. Those are memories that I will never forget, even after 22 years together. Brett
