…and sometimes the Page turns you
Betty Page was all the rage
Never had to hit a stage
Simply posed for photographs
Steamy, sexy, some for laughs
Never in apron or bonnet
Often with some leather on it
Betty Page was quite a oner –
Sharp as nails and quite the stunner!

Amy,
A very whimsical piece.
Nice.

Thanks. Betty Page doesn’t get the highbrow respect, but us regular girls all loved her and envied her looks. The closest we have now is Paulie Perrette on NCIS!

Funny you should mention Paulie Perrette. I am a big fan of hers as well as the show she’s on, NCIS. Another good piece. Brett

Oh, we are NCIS junkies. We call it The Night of the Living Harmon. Terrific supporting cast, especially nice to see David McCallum back on the screen… and Paulie is actually a forensic scientist! She auditioned on a whim but knows everything she’s talking about!!

Sad to say, David McCallum’s character, Ducky, is going to be killed off, unless he happens to survive the heart attack he had at the end of the season finale. I do agree that the supporting cast is terrific.

I saw that episode and don’t mind telling you, I sobbed when he fell face down in the surf. But, you know? The man is 80 and probably wants to retire, and they did warn us “one of their own” would be lost. Besides, the whole deal of asking Gibbs to be his exectutor, etc., and the fact that he spent so many years caring for his dotty mother must have taken their toll.
David McCallum was one of my favorite characters in The Great Escape, my others being Donald Pleasance and of course James Garner and McQueen!
