Not surprised you couldn’t sleep Amy—this is a brilliant image in words of a chaotic insomnia…I particularly like ‘mind blender’ and ‘my cat snores’ 🙂

Ha ha, you read them all! My therapist like the cat comment as well. Thanks, hon!

I like a lot, exquisite creativity!

Very creative…I used to worry when my brain wouldn’t allow me to sleep…I now let my mind do it’s thing and jot down stuff by the bed..on my phone now…and remind myself that my body is still getting rest reclined under my cozy blankets…
Michael (contemplativemoorings)
“Mind Blender”…I love that phrase 🙂

Wow! There is a lot going on in you brain, little wonder you can’t sleep and the cat snores, my cat snores too, so cute!
Interesting concept of insomnia I do hope it’s only a passing phase.
Best wishes,

Amy, I feel the pain of it. There’s few things more frustrating than a busy brain when you want to sleep. Love how creative you became in the midst of it. Hope you get some sleep soon. Love and hugs ❤

Sara, thanks, dear one. Yes, I agree, isn’t it a blessing when one can make a little lemonade when it’s raining lemons?
Björn Rudberg (brudberg)
There is a symmetry in that cacophony – when even the cat snores. So well describing that insomnia.
mybeautfulthings
Oh yes, I so recognise all that cacophony that fills your head when you cannot sleep. I keep pencil and notebook to write things down as sometimes that helps me go back to sleep. Did you make this representation in the night ? 🙂

Oh, no! That cacophony in the middle of the night…pixies, heartbeat, snores and all. Is there an Insomniacs United?!
sharplittlepencil
If not, we should start one!! Yikes! Thanks, Lynn.
